The Roumanians are fighting with great tenacity against strongly organised defensive works in the occupied .territory. General Maekcnsen's offensive on the Dobrudja has now been definitely chocked. Public opinion during the Dobrudja retreat remained calm dospito the proximity of the enemy to Bucharest, a constant arrival of reinforcements keeping up the confidence. Serbo-Croatian divisions have been formed from the Austro-Hungarian prisoners by the Russians and are fighting maguifiieentry.
