The sheep lines were prin cipallv comprised of hoggets for whicl tnere was a very active inquiry. ; On line of 112 fresh conditiontd 3 to 4-vear old Shorthorn steers from the North excited keen competition, and average< £l2 12s Id per head, the figures rang! ing from £ll 7s Gd to £l3 12s Gd. Thd sale was also marked by activity for] springing heifers. '
