SCENE IN THE COMMONS
MR GINNELL AGAIN. ASKED TO LEAVE THE HOUSE. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) LONDON, July 28. There was a scene in the House of 'Commons when Mr L. Ginnell, Independent member for Westmeath North, alleged that the military bombarded the nurses' headquarters during the Dublin insurrection. Mr Herbert Samuel, the Home Secretary, denied the. statement. Mr Ginnell accused the Home Secretary of insolence, anil persisted in putting his question. Mr Asquith thereupon moved the suspension of Mr Ginnell, who refused to leave the Chamber until the sitting was at an end. He was then persuaded to leave, and the sitting was resumed. deceived July 28, 8.30 p.m. LONDON, July 28. Mr Ginnell has been suspended until the end of the session, unless re-admit-ted by special resolution. Mr (.'innell has attracted attention on numerous previous occasions owing to his eccentric behaviour in the House, particularly on the Irish question.
