BRITISH RESOURCES
LONDON, Juno 25. In the House of Commons .Mr Hayes Fisher, Unionist member for Fulham, referring to the announcement that a Bill providing for a register of national resources was to be introduced by Mr Walter Long, said he thought this was a very satisfactory answer to the demand for a great national scheme. -Much doubt exists as to the scope of Mr Long's Bill. Many members of the House, of Commons expect that it will also provide for a national register of the available manhood of the nation. On the contrary, it will really he a war census to enable the authorities to determine what branch of the war work each is best fitted for.
