SEDDON STATUE
UNVEILED AT WELLINGTON. By Telegraph.—Press Association. WELLINGTON, Saturday. A bronze statue • f the late R. J. Seddon was unveiled by His Excellency the Governor this afternoon in Parliamentary Grounds. Rain was falling, but nearly two thousand people were presnt. The Mayor of Wellington, the Governor, the Prime Minister, and Sir Joseph Ward delivered addresses eulogistic of the deceased statesman and his work. Enthusiastic cheers were given as the unveiling flags were pulled aside by His Excellency.
