CASUALTIES AT DARDANELLES.
Received May 29, 10 a.m. SYDNEY, May 29.
Lieut. Steadman, son of the ex-Mayor of Whangarei, was killed in the Dardanelles, Lance-Corporal W. T. Mattheson, Port Chalmers, was wounded, Privates William Shadrick and Coleman, Wellington, were killed, and Captain A. N. Watson and Private R. Stone, New Zealanders', were killed. The total casualties arc : Killed: 107 officers and 39(3 men. Wounded: 210 officers and 3017 men. Missing: 14 officers and one man.
