HAMILTON v. TE KUITI. The Hamilton Tennis Club's team visited Te Kuiti on Saturday am', played a series of matches with the Te Kuiti Club, winning by the narrow margin of one set. At the end of the day's play the scores stood at:— Hamilton, 10 sets, gamei. Te Kuiti, 9 sets, 121 games. The visitors were very hospitably entertained by the Te Kuiti players and spenfe' a very enjoyable week-end in the King Country town. On Saturday afternoon the St. Andrew's and Wesley Tennis Clubs met for the first time this season on the St. Andrew's courts, and after some interesting games the visitors proved victorious by 1? sets to 4, or 125 games to 88. The ladies of the home club kindly provided afternoon tea, which was appreciated by players and visitors, and helped to pass a pleasant afternoon. A return match will probably be played in a fortnight's time. The following are the scores, Wesley being mentioned first in each instance.
