PORTE READDRESSES THE POWERS.
BULGARIANS APPROACH RO-
DOSTO
(Per Press Association.—Copyright.)
CONSTANTINOPLE, November 12. The Porte has readdressed the Powers, inquiring what progress towards the cessation of hostilities has been made.
Kiainil Pasha, the Grand Vizier, warned the Ambassadors that if the Bulgarians entered Constantinople, the Ambassadors, with the young and old, all would die.
I he Ambassadors recommended each Power to send a third warship. I he wounded arriving are so numerous that the Porte is transferring them to Broussn. It is feared that the water supply will become affected, and carry cholera into the town. 1 he Arabs have offered many thousands of troops to help the Caliphate. When the Turkish warship Masudia shelled the vicinity of Rodosto, the the Greeks and Armenians became panic-stricken, fearing a massacre, and took refuge in the Consulates. A feeble dispirited Turkish garrison occupied the trenches around Rodosto. The fight lasted all the afternoon, and the Bulgarians are steadily approaching the town.
