Typhoon in the Philippines.
4QO PEOPLE KILLED. (Per Press Association.—Copyright.) MANILA, October 19. A typhoon has wrecked 400 houses in Cebu (one of the Philippine Islands) and 2000 in Leyte (another island in the group). The hemp and sugar crops have been destroyed, and the damage is estimated at 25,000,000 dollars Four hundred people have been killed.
