CLYDE'S CREW RESCUED

HOB ART, Dec. 27.

The steamer Toroa from Macquarie Island brought the captain and crew of Hatch's schooner Clyde, which was wrecked on the islanc, and also a Quantity of oil and siome sail®. There wae other salvage though very little was saved. It will be shipped to New Zealand.

The steamer went ashore early in the morning, and drifting close in, the crew reached tbe land safely and with little difficulty.
