PEKIN, Dec. 26. The revolution is triumphant in twelve provinces, and chaos rrtgns im three others, while the loyalty of Sbrii How-an and Shant-ung are shaken. Imperial authority has virtually disappeared in Mongolia and Central ABia.
Republicans at Shanghai demand an immediate reply from Yuan-ehih-kai, otherwise they will elect SunYateen president.

The Young China League has forwarded a letter to the Chinese Con-sul-General stating that he is exceedingly disrespectful to the Republican feeling of Chinese residents In Australia by hoisting the dragon flag on receipt of reports of Imperial victories. The letter suggests that if the Consul wishes to remain a servitor under the Manchus he should return to PeWnj? immediately where he might be able t 0 render more service when the Republican army marches triumphantly :n that city.
