Mrs Helen Barton, who is described as the "Queen of Scottish orators," spoke to a large audience In the Hamilton Town Hall last evening on the licensing question. Mrs Barton, who is certainly a very gifted speaker, kept her audience in close touch with her subject, and h-ii address was of a high order.
