(Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Tuesday. The Commission appointed by the Government to enquire into and report upon the petition lodged by the Waikato Acclimatisation Society to be officially recognised, commenced taking evidence to-day. Later the Commissioners will visit Hamilton, Thames, and, if necessary, Te Aroha.
