Fowler, the Canadian airman, who attempted to fly from San Francisco to New York, was unable to cross the Sierras, and returned. His Colfax engine was not strong enough to carry him across the summits, and he will probfllbly abandon the attempt.

Rogers has resumed his ocean to ocean flight.
