The trouble 01 iginiatinig. with- alleged grievances oi the truckers who have been in conflict with the manager for some time, has resulted in all the men at the Northern Coal Company's mine, at Hikurangi declaring a strike. At the Union's direction they refused to start work yesterday i.cd declared that they are determined to stay out till their grievances are rectified.
