WAIKATO A. AND P. ASSOCIATION.
MEETING OF COMMITTEE. A meeting of the Waikato A. and P. Show Committee was held at the office of the secretory, this morning. There were present-'Messrs Anderson (chair), Oliver, Hinton, Newell, McKec, J. Clarkin, Howie, Waring, Atsan, and Seddon. CLYDESDALE STUD BOOK. Mr W. P. Archibald, manager for Mrs J. D. Ormond, Hastings, forwarded a cincular in connection with the establishment of a Clydesdale stud ib)o o k, suggesting that eaofc district should .compile, its own entries which would toe cheap and effective method of preventing fraud. The different bodies could them affiliate, if necessary, with Canterbury. The circular was referred to the Draught Horse Committee, for a report. SIDE SHOWS. Allotments of space were made to several applicants, for the purpose of side shows. TICKET BOXES. The secretary was instructed to enquire of the Racing Club, ' as to the cost of the ticket boxes and to offer to co.ntifib.ute half the amount, for their use. INVITATIONS. It was decided to forward invitations to the Governor, the Premier and the Minister of Agriculture to lie present at the show. WATER FOR STOCK. The raising of water at the show ground ibfeing unsatisfactory, it was decided to , a sk the ground committee to report on the matter of sinking a well. ADVERTISING.
