Rotomanuka Drainage Board.
A meeting of the above was held in .Ohaupo on Monday last. There were present—Messrs F. Potts (chairman), D. Turnwald, W. Trott, A. Karl and C. Rauche. It was resolved that <& general rate be made of 1 penny in the £. Tbe Superintendent of the N.Z. State Guaranteed Advances Offioe wrote forwarding provisional approval of the Board's application for a loan of £ISOO for the purpose of constructing drainage works within the Rotomanuka area. The term of loan 36| years, and the rate of interest per cent, per annum, the loan to be secured by a special annual recurring, rate. The •clerk was instructed to write and re(|)uiest Mr S. B. Sim to prepare plans and specifications of thef pnopbsed drainage works. The following 'accounts were passed for payment E. B. Cox £lO, Waihito Times £1 Is.-
