Waikato Farmers' Club.
A meeting of the -Farmers Club was held in the Clubroom, Cambridge, on Monday evening, Mr J. S. Fisher (in the chair, the following new members were elected JVSjessrs Geo. Beer, D. Kemp, and Geo. Read Junr. A letter was read from Messrs Riley and Co., Wellington, drawing attention to a unanimous resolution passed at the meeting of the A. and P. Association, Auckland, regarding the necessity for telephone communication in the country districts. It was resolved to refer same to the executive, and endeavor to arrange for Mr E. Hall, Auckland, to give an address on the. subject in Cambridge at a future date. The following igjantletaeii were elected' President, Mr J. S.Fiaher ; vice-president, Mr W. J. Andrews ; executive, Messrs A. N. Macky, J. S. Fisher, R. 'Fisher, E. Allen, G. Watt, J. S. Allen, M. Butler, W. J. Andrews, J. Wallis and W. Harbutt;> secretary, Mr E. Veale.
