WAIKATO MATTERS.

(By Telegraph—Special to Waikato Times) Auckland, this day. At the meeting of the Board of Education yesterday, a letter received from the Education Department re the proposed new school at Harapepe was referred to the School Committee.

Regarding the request for a school* at Honikiwi, it was decided to ask that certain necessary information should be supplied, as it was needed by the Department. A grant of £2lO was received for a new school at Turanga-o-Moana (Matamata) and £230 for a schools building at Hangatiki, and it was decided to instruct the architects to call for tenders for both works.
