SIR JOSEPH WARD.
1 ' i GOING TO ENGLAND. | (L>y Telegraph—Press Association.) f WEIJLINUiON, January 7. Sir Joseph Ward will remain in J Wellington until about January 13, ; when he will leave with the Governor ou a visit to the West Coast, travelling overland from Christchurch. He will remain there only a few days as he has to leave Ghristchureh for Dunedin on January 18. He will leave Wellington for London on January 26,' journeying by the Maheno ' to Sydney, and there joining the Mongolia He will be accompanied by Lady Ward and Miss Eileen Ward. The Conference of Premiers, he has been advised, will open on April 15, and will probable last three weeks or a mouth. On the conclusion of the conference he will represent the colony at the conference on shipping laws, which will open on May IG. When that is finished, he will leave again for New Zealand, and expects to arrive here on June 28, not in time for'he opening of Parliament, but within two or threu days ot that function.
