MESSRS ALFRED IIUCKLAND AND SONS' REPORT. Horses.—it £he Haymark -t on Friday last we had a full yar j principally of the light class, and many changed hands at lace quotations. Vouug draughts are wanted. Waggon an 1 express sorts find ready sale at full values. A medium draught stallion brought £-7. During the week we placed several aged heavy draughts at prices ranging from MM to £ls. Being Christmis week, there was a sinill muster of fat cattle ut R 'luuira on Thursday. Those sold at late values. Dairy cattle were in belter demand, owing no doubt to the dry weather. i.?oth mutton and lamb sold freely throughout, weth'Tß Belling to 225, ewes to 17s 6d; 590 sold. Lambs, lis to 19s 3d; 680 sold. Pigs, in usual numbers, kept recent quotations.
