ST. PETERSBURG, Dec. 2U

The Czar has decorated Count Stolypin as a reward for his exemplary zeal and self-sacrificing service. The decoration is considered signiiicaut, as Count Stolypin is the mainstay of liberalism in the Cabinet. Two bombs were thrown at Colonel Cha/anovski. chief of police at Lodz, wrecking the carriage and injuring him, and also mortally wounding the driver, a policeman and two dragoons. The perpetrators escaped.
