Sir,—la your issue of even date, your . correspondent, who signs himself " Fair , Flay," c implains because he has not been i able to walk down Yijtoria-street without I breaking his legs in testing which was the j best make in lawn mowers, and also up to ] the present time has avoided falling into ! any " tin tubs." Then after esoaping these dangers he absolutely stepped iff the tootpatu because a " certain firm" was cutting a few feet of oilcloth. Unfortunately in doing so, he misled a splendid opportunity of testing not oilcloth but a [first class linoleum.
