BUTTER AND EGGS. The following are the Auckland wholesale quotations for bu.ter and eggs for the week ending Deoember Ist: Factory butter Is per lb ; farmers' butter (best) 8u per lb; eggs 9J per d< zen. Eggs are much more plentiful this week and have eased. Many eggs are now coming on the market that were Bent to cool store during the last few weeks. There is no market in the South, and the local market is unable to consume present supplies. The complaints about stale and bad eggs are loud and strong. The Co-operative Egg and Poultry Co.'s price for eggs for the week ending Ist December, 1906, is: Hen eggs, lid dozen; duokjeggs, 9d dozen.
