FARMERS' AUCTIONEERING COMPANY.
MEETING AT TE KOWHAI. From Our Own Correspondent. Mr of Hamilton, addressed tha farmer? of ! 0 k'owhai on Wednesday evenil g on the proposed Farmers' Auctioneering Company. The meeting was well attended Ipy tli > farmers of tho dutrict. Air Hill was well received, and clearod up all detailed mitlers in connecti >n with the company and the flotation of the same.
A large number of (juestions were asked and answered.
On the moti n of Mr IShckett, a resolution was carried, "That this meeting thoroughly approve of the object, and assist in forwarding tho formation of the company." The motion, on being put by the Chairman, was carried unanimously. When the share list was made up it was found that over .£350 worth of shares had been taken. This Mr Bell considered highly satisfactory for Te Kowhai. On the motion of the Chairman, a hearty vote of thanks was accorded to Mr Bell. The meeting then terminated. MEETING AT WAIHOU.
Vestordiy m ining, Mr Allan Bell, of Hamilton, addressed a meeting at Waihou in the interests of the proposed Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Company. There was a good attendance of settle a who were most enthusiastic with regard to the project. Mr Hell dealt chit fly with tho various objections that had been brought before him fr >m time to time, and answered several i|uestions with regard to the dotation satisfactorily. That the
settlers of this district heartily approve ot the formation of the Company, is evidenced by the fact that £Mo worth ot shares were subscribed fi>r during the afternoon, making a total of over iIOUO for the Waihou district alone.
