PERSONAL.
Sir John Gorst is at present the gusst of His Excellency the Governor at Government House, Wellington. On Monday next he will leave for Auckland. A gathering of ladies connected with Trinity I'resbyteran Church, Cambridge, took place oa Wednesday afternoon, at which Mrs J. Fisher (on behalf of the tubscribers) presented Miss Taylor, who is shortly leaving Cambridge, with a gold muff chain as a suiall recognition of the valuable services rendered by her as a Church worker and as a mark of the esteem in which she is held.
