ARREST OF A SINGER.
AN EXTRAORDINARY AFFAIR
NEW YORK, November 18
Signor Caruso, the famous tenor, was arrested in New York at the instance of a woman who charged him with insulting her. Two policemen were necessary to taVe Caruso, who was half mad with anger and excitement, to the cells. He was afterwards bailed.
The woman gave a false address and has since disappeared.
