FINDLAY CHARGED WITH THE CRIME. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) OAMARU, This Day. John Findtaj was formally charged yesterday morning; with the murder of Mr Rennie, the schoolmaster who was found shot dead at Papakaio. He was remanded till the 19th inst. None of the missing property has been recovered. It is understood that there is but little evidence to connect Findlay with the crime, except that hiß departure from the vicinity on the night of the murder was suspicious. It ia stated that Findlay is known to have been about the neighbourhood for eome time before and after the murder of Mr Rennie.
