Steers made from £B 10a to .£ll 10s, up to 23s per lOOlbs ; cows made from £i 10s to £d 10?, up to 20s per lOOlbs. Sheep were yarded in fair numbers, and maintained late rates tor good qualities. With the exception of a draft of unbroken medium draught colts and fillies, all classes wet e eagerly sought after. Heavy draughts sold at from £27 10s to £39; medium do., £2O 10s to £32; hacks and light harness horses £7 108 £33 for a big upstanding hack from Te Kuiti. At Pupakura on Wednesday there was a good muster of stock of all classes. Dairy cows were again well represented and sold at from £4 03 to £7 10s; empty do., £2 2s to £3 19s; grown steers, £5 5s to £7 is; 2 to 3-year do., £2 17s to £5; yearlings, £1 15s to £2 9sj calves, 17s to £1 14s; bulls, £4 5a to £6. Beef, of which there was a large yarding, sold at Newmarket rates; cows, £l ss to £7 10s; iteers, £6 to £8 103. We submitted an average catalogue of hides, skins, and tallow on Tuesday, all lines being sold under keen competition. Hide*. —Market firm.
