Ihe Municipal Conference this morning adopted a number of recomujyndations made by Dr. Mason, chief health officer, regarding butchers' and barbers,' shops. In respect of the former that an effort should be mado to protect meat in shops from dust, and that a better style of delivery cart was required. The proposals made regarding barbers' shops were with the object of preventing customers catching skin and hair diseases.
