-♦- - - MR T. Y. SNEDDON ENTERTAINED. (By Telegraph. Pkbss Association.) HOKTTIKA, Last Night, Mr T. Y. S«d ■'■ n, U.H.R., was entertained by his Ladies' Committee yest-rday a* atterno n tea. Then was a very large attendance of tie public, including country representative*. .lr Joseph MtiKle, the Mayor, presided, and during the afternoon the ladies presented the new member with .1 gold sovereign case as a souvenir ©f the occasion. Mr Seddon made a h»pp7 speech in reply. Several musical items were given. Before the proceedings terminated, very hearty chtars were given for the member, Mrs Seddon and the family. Mr Seddon remains another fortnight or so on the Coast, and purposes visiting South Westland before returning to Wellington.
