WAIKATO CENTRAL A. AND P. ASSOCIATION

A meeting of the executive committee of the above Association waa held at Catnbridg'on Saturday, there being present: Messrs J. Fisher (President), R, Reynolds, A. L. Sourer, E. Allen, J. Hooker, C. j'. Potts, R. Fisher, E. A. Death and A. W. Gane. The secretary was instructed to arrange with the Borough authorities to have sanitary pans place! at the showground. The secretary was further instructed to write to trie relatives of the late Mr Windsor condoling with them,and expressing the Society's appreciation of Mr U indsor. It was resolved to inform the Exhibition Committee that the Association is fully in accord with the ncfiou they have taken, and will co-op-rate with them in providing a suitable exhibit for the Waikato, but c insider the & unties and boroughs should contribute the amount reijuin-d. The President was appointed delegate to represent the Association on the Waikato Exhibition Committee. Mr I'ayl >r will be asked to send h's fat bullock and cow to the Exhibition ; the Association to guarantee him ayaim-t any b*s. Messrs Clark and Sons W. i-outerand Co., and A. F. Stone and Co. will be asked to assist in securing photos of turnips and other producj for the exhibition ; and the following gentlemen were appointed to assist in carrying out this object:— Messrs R. Fisher, R. Reynolds and E. Allen. Ihe President was requested to represent the A?soci:;t ; on at the Conference with Mr Greenslade M.H.R. The President's action in securing the lease of section lb of the Cambridge Domain, close to the showground, for 21 years at a rental of 41 per annum, was endorsed; as was also his sub-letting the same to Mr McDonald, at the same rent, the Association having the s.>le right of the allotment for 11 days in each year. Mr E. Veale was re appointed Secretary at 4105 per annum. Messrs M. Butler, J. Gane, R. Fisher and J. Hooker were appointed committee for the dany cow classes;.
