ROAD BOARD ELECTIONS.

MATAMATA. The Matamata Road Board election took place in the Waharoa and Matamata halls on Saturday, and a very keen and general interest was taken by local ratepayers in the issue, Messrs Pohlen, Murray and Forsman, the retiring members and Mr James Orr being the four candidates for three seat 3. The election resulted in the return of Messrs Pohlen, Forsmanand Murray, the three old members.
