DRUIDS.
The newly formed Druids' Lodge held their first induction service in St. Peter's Schoolroom, Hamilton, last night. Visitors were present from Auckland, Te Aroha, Kar.angahake, etc., and these were escorted from the station by the Hamilton Town Band. At the close of the service the members adjourned to the Volunteer Hall, where numerous friends, including members of the Oidfellows' Lodge and "Hamilton Town Band, were entertained to supper. The Grand District President, Bro. Blomfield, of Auckland, responding to the toast to " The Druids," spoke at some length on the progressive and liberal methods adopted by that Lodge. Messrs W. McLean, of Karangahake, and W. Dudley (chairman), of Te Aroha, spoke in eulogistic terms of their Lodge, and advised members to increase .its strength, but not at the expense of other lodges." Musical items were rendered at intervals by Messrs Mark Enerson, James Quinn, W. McLean, A. Brough, H. Fort and others. The following officers were elected at the induction serviceSecretary,D.
