AUCKLAND SHOW.

Splendid weather was experienced for the second day of the show, when at least 15,003 people were present. A noticeable improvement over former years was in regard to the tram service, lrams were run every minute, with the consequence that the usual crushing and crowding were entirely avoided. During the afternoon, Lady Plunket and her children were present. Amongst the st)ck exhibits, the Waikato was largely represented, in fact, almost the majority of tlio entries came from there. Fat cattle were not particularly numerous, but what they lacked in number they made up in quality. Practically the whole of the entries were from the Waikato, and every prize awarded went there. The graziers in the vicinity of Hamilton and Cambridge were the most successful, and some of their exhibits were superior to anything shown in New Zealand this year. Mr T. W. Kirk, of the Department of Agriculture, gave a display of the different methods of spraying, which aroused considerable interest. The following are additional Waikato awards : SADDLE HORSES.
