THE BLACK FAMILY.
The Black Family, if not quite yet ft household word in New Zealand, is at any rate, well aud favourably known from the North Cape to the Blnff. Everyone knows them, most people have heard and admired them. It is very doubtful whether there is another family in the Empire which is eo talented and genuinely musical, without a trace of amateurishness. Miss Nellie Black need have no hesitation' to aiugr or play the violin before any judges, not to mention her other accomplishments, ana every member of tliis taleuted family excels in his or her particular line, which secret of the splendid programmes which are invariably put on. W hat has helpe immensely to increase the popularity of the Black Family is the fact that they take ' the same pains and trouble to piease whether in His Majesty's Theatre, or a back-bleoks hall. Their latest tour was literally a triumphal success up and down the country settlements. The Company was well received on their first appearance here, and aa there will be a complete change of programme a big house is sure to greet them at Hamilton on liiursday next.
