WOOL. LONDON. March 10. Coarse crossbreds are dearei owing to American purchases. Large withdrawals of merinos were m;ide. the sales included: Dosington, 7^l; Rangatira and Waikareao, BJd ; Ulonga and Sherendan, B}d ; Longlands, Bfd; Tapis, Is 7j?d. LONDON CABLE. LONDON, .March 11. Wheat: 'Frisco, Idol. 41' cents. 12,000 quarters of Australian June and July shipments sold at 30s lOJd; 12,500 quarters New South Wales for shipment by March lfi, 30s 9d ; 12,000 quarters Victorian May and June shipment, 30s 10£ d. Butter: Market dull. The Copenhagen quotation has been lowered six kroner, making the London values: Danish, Ills; Australian, ('tis to 98s; N.Z., 98s to 100s. The Kaikoura's butter arrived in excellent condition. The arrival of 80,000 boxes of butter is depressing values. Cheese: Market hardening. N.Z., 495. At the Bradford wool sales crossbreds are firmer, but merinos are weak. Forty-six's, Is ljd ; other sorts unchanged. The London sales included Pouparao clip, B*d; Dunuaral, 9gd; Chalton, Is ofd; Tinapagee, Is 6sd.
