(by elkcimo telegraph-copyright), Shanghai, November 15. A launch belonging the H.M.S. Edgar sunk while that vessel. was cruising in Japanese waters, and 48 of those od board were drowned. November 17. Further details show that H.M.S. Edgar's launch sank while returning with a party of seamen who had been taking part in shore exercise. The officers were saved.
