Queen of Waihi shares were in demand at 3s, having advanced in sympathy with Waihi Silvertons. Grown shares , are still wanted at 345; and Waitekauns at 8s 4d, but there are no sellers, at that price. Kapai-Vermbnts were firm at Us. Thames stocks showed'little change. New Albania, Owhatoas.and; were easier; in price. "'"'''L The cause of the rapid advance in Waihi Silvertons became apparent! when the following telegram was posted on the Exchange:-" In driving the main crosscut from the shaft we cut a new reef four feet wide; oo wall yet."
