South Wales cricket'team Jexpect to leave for New Zealand about l)e----cember,7., , Mt% H, Aubtawriten from Alexandra: The only Association ' fixture for 7 to-day (Saturday) is the match between Alexandra and Te Awamutu. The, following will represent Alexandra : Richdale (2), Bowden (2), Aubin, Delaney, Hodgson (2), Smith, Prentice, Strong Manawaroa, Turner. Emergency: Godkiri. At a meeting of the Council of the New Zealand Gricket Association at Christchurch, on Thursday, a letter was read from the secretary of the, New South Wales Association stating that, provided the steamer was detained, New South Wales would leave Sydney for New Zealand on December 7. The Union Steamship Company wrote stating that the steamer would ba postponed till the date named. It, was decided that only one New Zealand match should ba played, namely, in Christchurch on December 30 and 21, and January 1. It was resolved on the motion of Mr Cuff, " That the Council appoint three men to select the New Zealand team-one from the North Island (if possible) one one Otago (if possible) and'one from Canterbury—the committee to meet in Christchurch prior to the i Wellington match to make the final selection." The appointment of the selectors was deferred till next meeting,
