Acceptances to be declared before 9 p m. on FRIDAY, December 14th, 1894. Five per cent to be deducted from all stakes, to go to improvement of course. ' Nominations and Acceptances to be accompanied by the necessary amount in cash. Any jockey riding except in colours entered will be fined 3 sovs, (This rule will be strictly enforced). Performances and description of horses and their riders' colours to be sent in with all nominations or acceptances. Definition of a Hack.—A hack is a horee that has never wen an advertised race (hack and hunter races excepted), and that is not. at the time of start, and has not been, during the three calender months previous to the time of start, nominated for any race—hack and hunter races excepted.
