The value of the stakes won by him amounted to the large sum of £5500, and he left the turf as sound as the day he was foaled. Pinfire was one of those out-and-out stayers, which are unfortunately getting scarcer every day, that could make his own running and finish a really good two-mile race, Particulars of route in future issue however the horse will be two days early in the week, at Lochiel; end of week at W hatawhata.
