This, after Mr Seddon being; interviewed by ; a deputation lin June last pointing out, to him the urgent' need of some permanent means d l c6m-' munication between both sides of the river here, and giving a ,-promise of [ assistance to the extent of £2OO. towards the cost of a punt, must prove to ithe hon. gentleman that a body guilty of such conduct have nit acquired the'gift' of (lOvernment.ior that, they imust be a decidedly unrepresentative body devoid 1 of common sense or .gratitude; Inthis as in other; matters,!
