HAMILTON DOMAIN BOARD.
The usual meeting of the above Board was held on Tuesday evening. Present: Messrs Dey, Tippin, Davis, Gwynne, Slade,-Jones, Salmon, and Sandes. Mr Dey was appointed Chairman. Domain Leases.-A lengthy letter was received from Mr L. O'Neill on the question of the Governor refusing to sign the Domain leases.—Messrs Dey, Sandes, and the Clerk were appointed a committee to draw up a further letter to the Surveyor General on the matto. Lake Reserve -Permission was granted to the Hamilton Swimming Club to make a charge for admission to the Lake Reserve on January 29th of Is for each adult, children under 13 years of .age free, and Islor each horse and buggv; 5 per cent, to be deducted towards the Domain funds.-Mr Sandes moved that the Foreman of 'Worki be authorised to repair the filling in at the Lake Reserve for the regatta on the 29th at a cost of £llos.-Seconded by Mr Gwynne and carried. Sydney SQARK-The secretary reported that £2 15s had been received from the Hamilton Athletic Club heing 5 per cent, on the takingson Boxing Day. ~ Accounts.—Payment of the following accounts was authorised :-,T, Parr, £1 Is Bd;T.W. Maunder, told.
