Mr T. G. Wilson also intends to ask the Minister tor Public Works if he will have a trial survey of a line made through from Palmerston North to Pahiatua, to ascertain if it is possible to get a bettor and safer line to connect the East and West Coasts than the one at present through the Manawatu (.Jorge.
