CARLYLE SPADING HARROW.

A very successful trial of the Garlyle Spading Harrow was held nearOhanpo on Tuesday. Mr McLaren's farm, about a mile out on the Innisfallen Road, was the eite of the trial, and fully 100 farmer* attended the operations. M.r J. H. Scott, of Paterangi, and Mr McLaren, kinJly horsed the implement, an 3, of course, Mr Greig was there to superintend. The ground was rather soddened by the late heavy rains, but the machine nevertheless did excellent work, and appeared to satisfy all present. It was worked on turnip land, and Mr Greig then put the implement on to its travelling gear, when it is only six feet wide, and he made everything right and tight for road travelling in the short space of about two minutes. Then he turned his attention to booking orders, and did very fair business.
