On Saturday, the 30th ult., before a large assembly, we held our monthly horse fair—the largest and most successful that wo have had since last March. There were about 110 horses, both broken and unbroken, entered for sale, the majority of them being hacks of rather inferior quality, though we had a few good young draught horses, which elicited keen competition. There were plenty of buyers present, some of them coming a distance, but these latter did not secure many horses, ▼ery few of the class they required (upstanding hacks and light harness) coming forward for sale ; though the majority of what were in changed hands under the hammer at prices very satisfactory to vendors.
