THE THREE KINGS.
(As sung with great applause at Wellington.) "Some men are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them." For we are three, three kings be we, And rule in royal way, From Auckland down to Cambelltjwn Our royal sceptre away. Our royal frown can blight a town, Our finger close a port; None dare say nay, nor us gainsay— We're of the undent sort. For we are three, three kings we be, All of the ancient sort; Our royal frown can blight u town Our finger block a port. With forms dilate, and minds elate, Ot various majesties Perambulate in legal state Amidst obeisances. Mayors katow, and Chairmen bow And humbly beg and pray " May it seem good, your ruyalhond, To give our port fair play." With regal brow we see them bow, Then great as great can be, Turn on our heel and make them feel Inferi-ori-tee. Of what avail is Saumuol Vaile? Our royal noses tbree, In air urine, we all despise All common men, do we. His figures may in cleatest way, Make donkeys of us all; We only state they have no weight, They're not offi-ci-al. For all can see, not asses we In any at itt all, Bat potentates, all he»vy weights, And most offi-ci-al.
