Lord Salisbury has iuvited Mr Dibbs to ask the colonial Governments to institute an inspection of the butter shipments in order to secure equal and regular supplies ; also to try and influence the Shipping Companies to reduce the freight for butter and fruit.
Mr Dibbs stated ho would give his attention to the question, but could make no promises on behalf of the Australian Governments.
