77.- IP'nikato Times Office, Wednesday. MARKET REPORTS. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Ai'cncy Company, Limited, report under fU AmXA tW , Außu-t S.-Whoat: Our market has eased s.miewlmt during the past week, and prices have receded from Jd to Id per bushel, a. sale of a fair s.zed being reported at 3s !)d.-El"ur : We have no change to report in the demand for flour during the punt week, best patent roller being rioted at t'S IT.s to £9 per ton; country superfine, £7 to £7 15s ; household, .to 10s to £5 1"h, f.0.t... Port Adelaide.—Oats (duty, 2* per central) : Trade lota are sel--1 np nt '2s per bushel, in bond, for feeding qualitiee. . DUNKOIN, August 14.— Cram.—Wheat: There is no material alteration to note in the position of the market during the past Wflfik. A few linos are being placed on the bisis of late current rates, but buyers cmernlly do not evince any very great deniro to further increase stocks to any extont, and, as tha quantity required for local consumption is limited, should no further r so tako place at Mark lane, sales in the meantime at any rate will bo restricted, and mostly confined to prime samples only. Thn quantity of first-class milling wheat still in gollers' hands haa considerably decreased lately, so that though higher prices miy not be obtained for medium, in the not vory far distant future sales will bo more easily effected. There is very little wheat, tit only for fowls' feed, in the market, and the priceuruling for such are relatively higher tta those obtaining for prime. We quote prime milling velvet and Txscan, 3s:>d to 3s yd j medium to good, 3s Id to Js 4d ; inferior to medium, 2s 9d to 3s (ex store, sacks weighed in).-Oats: The demand for these is not by any means active, still them are daily a few sales being effected, chiefly of short, stout, bright c .loured descriptions, at prices about equal' t> last week's quotations. Shippers nre n,t operating to any extent, although we b'lieve a Might concession would lead to more business, more especially in st-.ut bright lines, these being till along in most roquest. Although business seems quiet tttocks are gradually decreasing, and if all the purchases made some time since were cleared away, the quantity on hand would l'i»k very much less bulky. We repeat Inst vreok'a quotation-, which are for best feed and milling Is 3M to Is -Id ; medium to j'ood Is 2M to Is lUd ; inferior and musty, l's lo U 5d (ex-'storu, sacks oxtra, net.) Potatoes.— Owing to the absence of a demand for shipment tho business done ib confined to the requirements of dealers for local consumption only, and hardly sufficient to absorb the supply coining forward from day to day. The market in consequence continues weak, late quotations being barely maintained. \\'e quote prime Darwents, tiOs to (>ss ; inferior to medium and good, 40s to 353. Chatf.—The market lias been more fully supplied this week. We quote best, 4os to 50s ; medium, 30s in 40s per ton. Dairy produce.—Market re mains unchanged; still dull. Prime salt butter scarce, but only fetches b'd to ni medium, over-supply, i'd to 4d, Cheese, Limited demand. Medium, 3d to 4d; small, 4fcd to I.M per lb.
